Recent Events

1. Spring Golf 2011

   President Bob Healy started his year with great weather and a fully sold out event at the Hunt Valley Golf Club.  The course was in great shape and the evening banquet was well attended with good food and liquid refreshment to end a perfect day.

Spring Golf Winners:  

First, the Carl Scheffel Putting Contest was won by Bob Farley.  There was no “hole in one” but Bob came closest. 

Red Flight:  1^st Gross- Tim Burgess 83; 1^st Net- Bob Simon 72 playoff;  2^nd Net-  Michael Benhoff   72

White Flight: 1^st Gross- Dennis Brown 77; 1^st Net- Mike Krupsaw 71; 2^nd Net-     Tony Frascarella   72

Blue Flight:  1^st Gross- Dave Long 77;  1^st Net-  Kevin Kreis  71;  2^nd Net- Dennis Fretz 72 playoff

Congratulations to all winners and thanks to all that participated.  Everyone, even us losers, should have had a great time.

The course is beautiful as well as challenging; and the evening meal was outstanding. 

Special thanks for the hard work by the organizing team; Don Krempel, Charlie Watkins, Stu Taub;

and to Carl Scheffel for organizing and running the Annual Putting Contest. 

2.  Bull Roast - The 2011 Oyster/ Bull Roast / Casino night was another successful event with an expanded silent auction.  The entire event realized a great financial addition to the Scholarship Fund allowing for another 2 awards to be presented prior to the Winter Convention
